End EffectorAn end effector is any extension of the robot that manipulates the game pieces. This usually consists of devices like paddles, arms, kickers, hoppers, etc. This sub-team is responsible for CADing, prototyping, and building an end effector that is optimized for the year’s challenge. The sub-team is divided into three groups of students and mentors that each develop a part of the completed end effector. A variety of materials are used by this team, including polycarbonate, aluminum, steel and UHMW (a type of polyethylene).College Majors: Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, etc. (in general, ALL engineering fields) Captian: Nick Brennan Project Manager: Ethan Miller
